Discover Your Dream Home
There are few Realtors that embody the communities they serve quite like Colette Andrews. Originally from Guyana, South America, Collette immigrated to the U.S. with her parents and siblings as a young girl and lived in Brooklyn, New York. After college in upstate NY, she returned to Brooklyn and lived in Park Slope until she moved to Maplewood fifteen years ago.
Maplewood was an excellent choice, with its wonderful neighborhoods and good schools to make a home for her and her son. At the time, she worked in the financial industry with Lehman Brothers, so the commute to NYC was equally important. For seven years, she lived in Maplewood and commuted into New York City.
In 2010, Collette decided to pursue her passion and became a full time Realtor. Her years in finance, had cultivated her skills in negotiation and consulting so real estate felt like a natural evolution. Of equal importance was Collette’s love for service. She enjoys assisting people and building lasting relationships, all of which are fundamental to an exceptional real estate experience.
Over the years, her mantra has become “A Friend in Real Estate.” True friendship starts with honesty and Collette embraces this in her business. She knows what questions to ask and listens closely to fully understand her clients wants and needs. Once she understands what her client is looking to accomplish, she provides a wealth of experience and knowledge to strategically guide them through the home buying and selling process. Ultimately, her goal is to exceed expectations so long after the sale is accomplished, Collette still maintains relationships with her clients. Many of which have truly become friends.
Collette is truly the real deal. A reliable ally, unafraid to share the truth with her clients. A knowledgeable local market expert with firsthand experience in both transitioning from the city to Maplewood and living life as a Maplewood resident commuting to the city. A ferocity for negotiation and a passion for consulting. When you work with Collette, you don’t just get a Realtor, you get “A Friend in Real Estate.”
